【展览前言】
FFA ART CENTER即将于2019.10.10参加在南京国际会展中心举行的第二届扬子当代艺术博览会（A18)，以“扁平与差异”为主题，推出24位来自不同地区和国家的华人青年艺术家，涉及装置、影像、雕塑、架上绘画等多个艺术门类。其中我们将艺术视角放置在扁平化时代下审视艺术的本体语言，在相同文化基因下不同的地域背景下，看待不同艺术家的个体艺术语言。风格化艺术史是现代艺术史的主要特质。而我们试图通过“差异”发现包容与开放下的艺术到底是什么样的状态。

FFA Art Center will participate in the Second Yangtze Contemporary Art Fair (A18) to be held in Nanjing International Convention and Exhibition Center on October 10, 2019. With the theme of "flat and different", FFA Art Center will launch 24 young Chinese artists from different regions and countries, involving installation, image, sculpture, easel painting and other art categories. Among them, we put the artistic perspective in the flat era to examine the noumenon language of art, and look at the individual artistic language of different artists under the same cultural gene and different regional background. Stylized art history is the main characteristic of modern art history. And we try to find out what kind of state art is under tolerance and openness through "difference".

艺术语言的本体是艺术家最重要的作品标志，也是艺术家在追求艺术语言上才华的表现。在扁平化时代，艺术的距离不断被拉近，信息的无缝覆盖，学科之间的融合，对于艺术家自身的要求和竞争也比去过去一个时代更加强烈。放置在这样的一个扁平化的时代，艺术语言的差异化是衡量艺术家创作的重要角度。我们将“扁平与差异”作为一个在作品琳琅满目画廊陈设林立的艺博会上，保持独立开发和包容性，以多元的艺术语言作为展览语言，是一个兼顾了藏家不同需求和学术考量下的一次问题提问。

这次在扬子当代艺博会上，突出四位留德艺术家的作品与不同年龄的艺术家的作品放置在一个特定的空间下，让作品在差异化的语言下自己说话，引发专业观众和藏家的思考。同时关照我们当下时代正在发生的艺术故事，以作品、文本的展览叙事结构，展现不同艺术家的差异化的创作方法论。

包容和开放，从个体出发，是当下艺术的特点。我们这次特别邀请了四位留德艺术家，张翀、李珂、罗灿、孙月，能看到他们在社会学和其他学科的艺术语言探索各具特点，社会性和时代性包括语言的差异化都是很明显的具有自我的特征。当然，24位艺术家都有着各自的出发点，而我们希冀借助艺博会这一具有特定语境的载体，在收藏和学术两者之间寻找平衡点，并对当代语言正在发生着的微妙的故事加以探求。
